An Evening with Anne Polajenko: Tommy Batchelor's New Film
TOMMY BATCHELOR TO STAR IN NEW FILM:
15 year old dancer/actor Tommy Batchelor has signed on to play the lead role in a new film "The Prize Guys". The movie centers around a very current topic: bullying in schools. Filming begins in Philadelphia at mid 2012. Actors have returned from the second script reading in New York. Tommy says, in a recent interview, “The reading was really fun. I enjoyed hearing all of the new people in their roles. This is going to be an amazing movie. I can’t wait to start filming.”
So'Danca followers remember Tommy as the young Prince in Miami City Ballet's "Nutcracker" and as Billy Elliott both on Broadway and in Chicago. Since outgrowing the part, Tommy has returned home and continues his dance training at Palm Beach Ballet Center and still professes his love for Tap dance. He wears the So'Danca Pro Tap TA 700.
To read more on Tommy just Google his name and a ton of information pops up, including his recent interview about "The Prize Guys."
